The most extreme labs emergency departments have seen. De-identified: year only, no patient details.

Rules and privacy

What belongs here

The single most extreme value you personally saw for a lab, from a real patient in an emergency department. Each board has a minimum cutoff, so only truly extreme values qualify.

What never belongs here

Anything that could identify a patient: names, initials, record or account numbers, exact dates, room numbers, photos, or case details. Only the year is collected, ages are grouped, and there are no free-text clinical notes. Entries that break these rules are removed.

Who can post

Clinicians verified against the national NPI registry. Your NPI and email are never shown publicly. Your display name appears only on entries where you choose to show it.

Accuracy

Values are self-reported and unverified. This site is for education and professional interest only and is not medical advice. Hospital names are used for identification only and do not imply endorsement.

Reporting

Signed-in clinicians can report an entry that looks inaccurate or identifying. Three reports hide an entry until a moderator reviews it.
